Kathleen Van Maele

Kathleen is supporting private and public companies to find and select key competent profiles. The selection covers board functions, members of the Executive committees as well as rare specialists and future managers.

Prior to entering the domain of executive search, Kathleen has held different senior management positions in private companies, with a focus on Consumer markets, B2B and Public Sector (National & European institutions).

She has been in charge of large budgets and teams within different functional areas, across different countries. Her experience covers General Management, Innovation (Innovation Director Europe within SCA Packaging), Operations (Director Logistics & e-Business Europe SCA Tissue), Sales (Sales Director BeNeLux Lyreco) and Marketing (Customer Marketing Director Europe, SCA Hygiene Products).

Having worked with people across different countries in different divisions and sectors, she clearly understands the importance of finding profiles with strong leadership who are able to fit and shape the company’s culture & structure with the aim to inspire and motivate people.

Qualifications

Kathleen graduated as a Business Engineer and holds a degree in Industrial Economics (MBA programme) from the University of Leuven.

She speaks Dutch, French, English and German

Michel Grisay

Michel builds long-term relations of trust by repeatedly and successfully working for clients on local and international assignments ranging from General Management to R&D. He puts a high emphasis on matching hard and soft skills requirements, including for the most complex assignments, taking cultural dimensions into account.

Michel has extensive international experience and lived abroad for many years. Before joining Hoffman and Associates in 2004, he had 20 years’ corporate experience in various management and executive roles with the International Labour Office (ILO), Solvay and ABB (Asea Brown Boveri), where he was Vice President Performance Services at global level.

Michel is Core Member of the Energy and Member of the Life sciences Practice Groups of IIC Partners Executive Search Worldwide.

Qualifications

Michel holds a Master of Sciences in Engineering and Architecture from UCL university in Belgium, and a post-graduate degree in Economics and Social Sciences from the IHEID and the University of Geneva, Switzerland. He is fluent in French, Dutch and English.
